About

Phil began performing in cafes around Brisbane as a poor tertiary student. After a couple of years of recording he released his first album and twice toured the east coast of Queensland playing tracks from the album. Phil and his band also supported international acts such as Randy Stonehill and Dan Peak (ex America).

Since that time Phil has played covers and originals in festivals, clubs, cafes, pubs, community events and on tours in Australia and internationally. He is a seasoned artist who plays rock, pop and blues covers from the 50s to now, along with his original music.

Touring

Internationally, Phil has played in Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, India, Nepal, Russia, Canada, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda and Germany. Phil has also toured Australia, PNG and the Solomon Islands with New Zealand artist Steve Apirana; and he toured Queensland and New South Wales with Adrian Ross (one of Australia's top didgeridoo artists).

Television and Radio

Phil's music is played regularly on Aussie Grown Radio syndicated across the nation of Australia and to North American radio networks. He has been a featured artist where he was interviewed about his latest album, Revolution. Phil has also been interviewed a number of times on Vision Radio which broadcasts across Australia.

This builds on the media attention gained by Phil's first album, First Light. Phil performed 'Company', one of the songs from his first album, on a number of Australian TV shows after it was released. It also received widespread airplay on radio. The song 'Forgiven', also from Phil's first album, received substantial airplay in Brisbane and on regional radio.

On a tour of PNG, Phil's band was invited to record six songs live for EM TV. They were interviewed and played live on the weekly Rock TV show. Phil's song 'Infidel' became a hit in PNG receiving TV and radio exposure for six months.

Phil and his band also toured Nepal a couple of times playing hotels, clubs and events. The highlight was playing at an international music festival in the national football stadium in Kathmandu. The event was televised to 15 Asian nations.
